Communist Coup d'Etat Attempt Is in Progress on Many Fronts

The Communist Party is like the multi-headed hydra of myth. It appears in many guises and under many names – the party itself, their close allies the Democratic Socialists of America, their front groups, their donors, their labor unions (they control the AFL-CIO), their entertainment industry contacts, MSM people, people in academia, and many useful idiots. Since they have people at the levers of power, a relatively small number of people wield great influence in American society. Few Americans understand that we have a serious threat on our hands.

Then there's the Robert Mueller investigation, which has the leftists salivating and hoping for an outcome of impeachment or worse.

Besides the above-mentioned, we have the thugs of Antifa and Black lives Matter, and the communists running much of the states of California and Minnesota. In America, organized socialists and communists are basically the same thing, and include most “Progressive” and “Liberal” Democrat politicians. Right now they are working to bring down Donald Trump, and America, by creating chaos in America through street rioting, encouraging radical Muslim jihad, and numerous other efforts.

Having gotten a good start under communist President Barack Obama, whose administration still has its socialist fingerprints on much of our government, the “Resistance” is quite active, and has been fairly successful in recruiting ignorant young people into its fold. The following are a few facts about these problems:

1. George Soros, a major donor to communist causes, recently allocated $18 billion of his fortune to his “charitable” foundations and political organizations, to use for such things as paying rioters and protesters and financing voter fraud, etc. (It's also a tax shelter.)
2. The Hollywood elites continue to accuse Donald Trump and his supporters of being racists, bigots, etc. The Golden Globes Oprah-fest speeches were mostly about the sexual predators, but Robert De Niro managed to work in a profanity-laced tirade against the president.
3. The Democratic Party is home to many communists and socialists among its politicians and bureaucrats, who cannot support our Constitution because socialism is unconstitutional, and they are therefore in violation of their oath of office, not to mention the fact that their loyalty to the United States is at best extremely questionable.
4. The Communist Party USA, despite its denials, was controlled by and loyal to the Soviet Union, and heavily involved in Soviet espionage from the the 1930s through World War II (when the Soviets were our allies), and the Cold War. Communists in the U.S. government were influential enough to make sure that the communists took control of China after the war. They guided the details, although FDR and Eisenhower, unlike Churchill, were anxious to please Stalin because of Russia's participation in the war. American Soviet agent Alger Hiss was part of the American delegation to the Yalta Conference as an adviser to President Franklin D. Roosevelt.* Later, Hiss participated in the founding of the United Nations and was its first Secretary-General.
5. Especially since the Obama Administration, most of the major news media has become the propaganda arm of the leftists, pretty much killing traditional American journalism. It's doubtful it can be brought back.
6. And now, one of the fronts the communist-guided leftists are working on is raising questions about Donald Trump's mental health (which seems considerably better than their own), with psychiatrists unethically diagnosing trouble where they haven't examined the patient. Liberal law professor Alan Dershowitz, a principled man who isn't part of this charade, recognizes the seriousness of the problems this can cause and speaks eloquently against it on Fox News Channels “Fox and Friends” program:

The solution to this is not simple and certainly not easy, but it is possible, and, I believe, would include the following things, among others:

1. Get the Justice Department to look into dealing with disloyal organizations and violent “protesters.”
2. Promote a plan to get back, as much as we can, to the founding principles of America. We have strayed quite a lot from them and are paying the price for it. I think the best readable book I've seen that explains what these principles are, what they're based on, and how they have been used, is W. Cleon Skousen's excellent The Five Thousand Year Leap: Twenty-Eight Ideas That Are Changing the World.
3. Educate people on our Constitution.
4. Require background checks for federal legislators to serve on committees of Congress.
5. Declare the Muslim Brotherhood and Antifa terrorist organizations.
6. Pray for a strong spiritual awakening in America. The ultimate answer to our situation is to get our nation right with God. This does not mean we should be a theocracy. But the Founders knew that a successful republic requires a religious and virtuous people.
7. Stop government promotion of social experimentation and gender confusion.
8. Control the border and fix illegal immigration. Send “refugees” back home if possible.
9. Firmly reinforce law and order. There should be no sharia law in the U.S. and there should not be any “no-go” zones. Violent demonstrators and rioters must be dealt with firmly. Give law enforcement adequate support and protection to do their jobs.
10. Try to keep an optimistic and cheerful attitude, and don't lose your sense of humor. This isn't over yet!

Video: FSB Keeps Big Banks Too Big to Fail and Too Big to Jail

The globalist NWO elites, including the big banking cartel (represented by the Federal Reserve, U.S. Treasury Department, and the Financial Stability Board, and others) seem to have found a way to effectively shield the biggest banks from punishment for their financial crimes.

A video at The Daily Bail, Bailout Films' “All the Plenary's Men” is instructive. It's an hour long and gets a bit technical, but you can's miss the message. The Financial Stability Board (FSB) (under the Bank for International Settlements, or BIS) is an international organization that claims it has the authority to enforce “global standards” for banks and financial institutions. Apparently, one of its main functions is to protect the biggest banks by proclaiming their several “immunities” against prosecution, document seizure, asset seizure, and prosecution of individuals, among other privileges, in violation of U.S., British, and probably other nations' laws, but immunities which the Obama Departments of Justice and the Treasury followed on orders from their British FSB colleagues, violating U.S. laws.

The FSB considers these particular banks “too big to fail and too big to jail.” That is why in the HSBC's serious money-laundering scandal, U.S. portion (2013), HSBC was allowed to negotiate its own fine, and never turned over any information that it did not itself select, nor did the company or any of their people face criminal prosecution, but the offending senior bankers were fired and the company paid a large fine (over $1.5 billion) that it calculated for itself. Thus the organization protects the big banks and supersedes national laws, which the federal government seems OK with. Rule of law, anyone?

Trevor Loudon's Videos Illustrate Serious Threats to America

Trevor Loudon's “America Under Siege” video series documents and explains how the United States is endangered by socialist and communist radical and violent activity and threats being promoted by Russian-supported socialist-communist and Islamic jihad organizations. Violent protests across America are not and have not been “spontaneous,” but highly organized and paid for by anti-American promoters of chaos, including organizations affiliated with the Democratic National Committee in support of Hillary Clinton.

These groups organize demonstrations and violent protests in support of radical Islam, Palestinian support against Israel and America, and foreign communist and socialist countries. Under Barack Obama's administration, these groups were tolerated and sometimes actively supported. Barack Obama is a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and their front groups including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). These are terrorist-related groups who still have their people in the federal government in various offices, including Congress.

It should be a matter of principle that any people or entity which has adopted terrorism as its major strategy, such as the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, should not be trusted until they have changed their ways for a long, long time, if ever. This should preclude any pretense of a “peace process,” or a Palestinian state beside Israel (my opinion).

As Loudon's videos show, communist-socialist groups now command a substantial following of young people and college professors and other “intellectuals,” as well as the mainstream media and the Democratic “progressive” politicians. They are working feverishly in an attempt to bring down President Donald Trump, and with that to establish a socialist state. Their young followers have become convinced that Trump represents racism and fascism, and is like Hitler, etc., and that the socialist leaders are “anti-fascists." Through this lens of abysmal ignorance and readiness to believe the socialists' lies a great many are radicalized to the point that they might never change their views.

“America Under Siege: Soviet Islam” documents how the Soviet Union trained and used radical Islamists to sow chaos in the U.S., and how Putin has continued and expanded that effort. The Democratic Party Base Is Socialist-Communist

The Democrats have already given us a socialist-communist president in Barack Obama. Many of his far-left appointees are still in government, and there are dozens of socialist-communists in Congress.* The “Liberal” or “Progressive” label usually indicates a socialist-communist politician. Americans may have a hard time believing that, but it is nonetheless true.

The “loyal opposition” isn't so loyal these days. Many of the leftist Democrats are members of, or are closely working with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and very often with the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).* The DSA is a Marxist organization and hardly different from communist. Like the CPUSA, they would like to overthrow capitalism and establish a socialist state. They strongly support communist countries.

Socialism goes against the U. S. Constitution, so these politicians are actually in violation of their oath of office.** It is not a stretch to call them domestic enemies of the United States. They are more loyal to socialism and communism than to America. With the virulent hate campaign against President Donald Trump, they are actually attempting to mount a coup d'etat against the U.S. They welcome the violent acts of Black Lives Matter and Antifa as part of their “revolution.” The idea is to create chaos in America and end the presidency of Donald Trump. Although they present themselves as “Democrats,” they are politically far from traditional Democratic Party positions and values.

And most voters don't understand the danger they represent to American life and liberty. Also, many Millennials know little about the nature of socialism, which they claim to prefer, let alone communism, which is just a very small step further, and, for American socialists, is practically the same thing.

For starters, as of this year, more Millennials would prefer to live in a socialist country (44%) than in a capitalist one (42%). Some even said they would prefer to live in a communist country (7%). The percentage of Millennials who would prefer socialism to capitalism is a full ten points higher than that of the general population.

Further, Millennials had trouble defining socialism and communism, and were often unaware of some important historical facts. Only 19% of Millennials knew that communism has killed over 100 million people (murdered by their own governments). And 47% of Millennials were unfamiliar with Mao Zedong, under whose reign over 60 million people were murdered.

Voters need to understand the nature and history of communism and socialism. Each leads to government running everything, and dictating many aspects of individuals' lives. Economically, neither will produce prosperity, but will lead to chronic shortages and poverty, because central planning doesn't work. Soon, only the elite are able to avoid these things. If you don't have economic freedom, you don't have freedom. Under socialism, there's little incentive to produce better products. The main incentive is for people to gain more power over others. Thus the worst people are soon in charge.

For socialists and communists, the end justifies the means. Any use of lying, theft, or terrorism on any pretext is OK if it advances the cause of the revolution. The promised prosperity and equality is never delivered.

In the U.S., the call is for government control over our lives through regulations and taxation.

On Progressive Hurricane Politics

To relieve the monotony of their mostly rigid socialist/fascist ideology, “progressives” vary in their opinions and statements depending on their jobs and, of course, personalities. There seems to be a range of ideas, for instance, about the deadly hurricanes the U.S. is currently experiencing. Jennifer Lawrence, beautiful, talented, and quite likable actress has come up with the profound statement that the hurricanes are a punishment (Mother Nature's wrath) for electing Trump. That must have required some deep thinking.

Show-biz people often use the platforms they've earned as entertainers to make proclamations about serious subjects, sometimes well, as in PSAs for hunger relief. Often, these days, not so well, as lashing out against President Trump and any and every thing having to do with him or his associates. For example, [momentarily off the topic of hurricanes] George Clooney was showing his own obnoxiousness by calling Steve Bannon a “failed f***ing screenwriter,” with further obscene comments about him. Way to go, George, diminishing yourself and your industry in the minds of decent people. But Hollywood isn't big on decency these days. Would that have anything to do with the decline of the movie business?

Leftist commentators keep looking for something in Trump's disaster response to criticize, as they did, mercilessly and unfairly, to George W. Bush when Katrina struck. So far, the governments' response seems to be going about as well as could be expected.

The perceived link of the hurricanes to “climate change” is, of course, irresistible to the leftists. Their thought leaders will milk every possible drop out of this disaster. Their followers will go along. But the sad truth, inconveniently, is that mankind is not responsible for anything significant to do with the climate. And mankind can do nothing to change it. It's enough to just clean up the pollution from the environment, which has been a pretty successful effort, and must be ongoing. 

Climate change is seen as a cash cow to governments who want to use it as an excuse to raise taxes, issue onerous laws and regulations, which would impoverish the citizens and enrich the top politicians and their cronies (Solyndra on steroids). It would do nothing positive to affect the climate. If you really want to do something positive about the environment, focus on preventing nuclear, chemical, and biological war. The climate-change agenda is a rat-hole not worthy of pouring good money into. But the elites would appreciate it.

Speaking of whom, the reptilian (metaphorically) globalist leaders would use climate change (See Agenda 21) as the excuse for confiscating money and property, and eliminating freedoms, while achieving nothing for the environment or anything else. These people include, but are not limited to, the Clintons, Barack Obama, George Soros, and other Alynski-ites with Orwellian plans.

In fact, the experience of witnessing people helping people in the hurricane flooding brings, to some, a renewed sense of unity, and faith in the human spirit. But to the progressives, everything's political, right down to Melania Trump's shoes. Her critics merely show their own bullying personalities and vindictive natures. As do virtually all the left's leaders and spokespeople these days in their frenzied hate campaign against President Donald Trump.

But occasionally, their comments, such as some by Rep. Maxine Waters, can be useful as comic relief.

The Road to Destruction

The leftists try to portray President Trump as a divisive figure. They try to blame him for the turmoil in Washington, when they bear much more responsibility than he. The left is orchestrating an unprecedented hate campaign against the president in an attempt to destroy him and his presidency. In doing this, they are employing tactics not unlike the left-wing revolutionaries of the 1960's complete with criminal acts including threats of violence against the president by public figures, approval of violent rioting by “antifa” paid thugs, and illegal leaks of classified information.The criminal activity is on the left, not the right. Yet the Democrats keep chasing their dream of some kind of Trump collusion with Russia which, they hope, would lead to impeachment, or worse.

The violence mentioned is directed at Trump supporters who dare to speak up in public against the leftist criminal element which currently still has charge of much of Washington, D.C. Democrats do their best to delay and stop Trump's agenda items at every turn. Even the GOP establishment is frequently showing themselves to be a true part of the D.C. Swamp. The loyal opposition is no longer loyal, to their duties or to America. Through the Clintons and other avenues, the Democrats likely have more shady foreign connections than Trump would ever have. Nothing has been proven thus far from Mueller and the Anti-Trumpers' Witch Hunt, which so far has only succeeded in harassing people, at great public expense.

I believe President Trump should put an immediate end to Mueller's employment and the whole sham “Russia” investigation. Get FBI top officials who will go after the real criminals Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton – and give James Comey and Loretta Lynch a thorough going over. Get all this junk cleared up so the government can do its job.

The Trump agenda is being delayed by GOP senators as well as Democrats. Mr. McConnell should know by now that the “nuclear option” in the Senate should be employed for all matters. The “filibuster” as currently structured is more of a joke than it is something that befits a deliberative body. It allows the minority to stop legislation with minimal effort and little to no reason.

Given the left's continual pounding against Trump by every available means, what are ordinary Americans supposed to think? That this unbearable conduct should be allowed to continue without any protest? The left, in lockstep, is demonstrating fascist tactics from the highest levels of the Democratic Party on down to the terrorist antifa rioters. When George Soros or some other high-up communist gives the order, the leftist operatives, useful idiots, and so-called journalists of fake news go into attack mode. What is supposed to pass for news is propaganda coordinated with the leftist bosses. It is entirely reasonable to question the patriotism of these people. It appears to be severely lacking. Policy differences cannot account for what they are doing. They are out for destruction.

It should be obvious by now that the Democrat leadership*, as a whole, cares nothing for the American working people or the economy. “America First” is a major turn-off for them. They want to protect, promote, and celebrate every evil thing in our nation, from Islamic terrorism to sexual perversion, to anti-police violence, and whatever anti-American and anti-white thing there is. They want a fascistic system that punishes anything that goes outside of political correctness and makes mandatory whatever supports their radical ideas. This is true fascism. They want an economy based on corporatism with the government in charge. They want to penalize any kind of financial success of legitimate business.

They want socialism, which is the opposite of freedom and is the engine of death. The death culture they support demonstrates a lack of concern for human life despite their attempts to present themselves as compassionate, caring people. 

And what if they succeed and the Swamp prevails? The globalists will run America. Angela Merkel and her ilk will have more control of the U.S. than our elected representatives. Sharia law will be enshrined, borders will be open to all, jobs will disappear and government dependency will increase. The United Nations will have more say-so than our Constitution and structural changes to government will be engineered to silence criticism and conservative influence. Following this would be a catastrophic collapse, with other and hostile countries coming in to pick up the pieces and rule where people had not the courage or moral fiber to maintain our Republic. Meanwhile the globalist elites would sit back and laugh. 

May God deliver us from that kind of fate. Whatever happened to “Give me liberty or give me death!”?

It Seems Obama Knew About Government Spying on Trump

The leftist/globalist/establishment deep state, aka “The Swamp,” which is showing itself to be hardly better than the Mafia, is running a vicious and entirely unjustified campaign of lies, delay tactics, and protests, to try to destroy the Donald Trump presidency.

I don't know how Trump found out his Trump Tower offices were bugged; maybe just by reading the newspapers, as Mark Levin details in the video below. Published articles in widely-read newspapers have reported that multiple intelligence agencies were involved (with FISA court approval) in spying on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and his people regarding ties to Russia. Spying by an incumbent administration on a presidential campaign of the other party is something not heard of since Watergate. Mark Levin presents the case against the Obama Administration based simply on published reports, compiled by an experienced Justice Department official and constitutional lawyer (Levin). This appears to be a situation which deserves congressional investigation, and it seems unlikely to go away soon. The Levin video from his appearance on “Fox and Friends” follows:








 





Maria Bartiromo interviewed Newt Gingrich concerning the wiretap, soon after Levin's appearance on “Fox and Friends.” Gingrich also referred her to former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy's National Review column concerning this.

If no evidence of collusion with Russia was found, and so far nothing has been presented, the spying was a egregious misuse of federal spy resources for political purposes. Like Watergate, only worse, since more agencies were involved. How could Obama not know about it and be OK with it, even is he didn't “order” it? He should be held to account.

The Sky Is Falling: Leftist Panic and Hysteria

The anti-Trump left, reeling from Hillary Clinton's defeat, is angry that she was defeated by someone of approximately opposite political philosophy and quite politically incorrect. While decrying the Trump Administration as fascist, the left is happily employing fascist and communist tactics themselves in their struggle against Trump.

The elites are promoting hysterics among the leftist press, academia, and media in what is meant to look like a grass-roots movement, but is guided by paid mobs and rabble rousers who see opportunities to participate in the violence. There are probably some sincerely high-minded idealists who think their demonstrations are expressing justifiable outrage against a bad administration, but they don't realize they are being manipulated and used by unsavory foes of American tradition and liberty.

Tucker Carlson of Fox News tries to interview an angry “anti-fascist” who wants the president forced out. This is a good example of “Trump derangement syndrome.” No discussion was possible with her.

While this seems an obvious extreme and unreasonable expression of hostility against Trump by some leftist activist, it is not fundamentally different from what Democrat politicians are doing daily to try to undermine the Trump presidency, recent examples being their campaigns against General Flynn and Attorney-General Sessions.

The presidential election, an honored American tradition pitting hard-fighting campaigns against one another, worked just as it was supposed to. Donald Trump won, and no one seriously questions that the outcome was correct. Yet the leftists are stirring opposition to the idea that the election was legitimate. The fact that Trump did not win the popular vote does not, in fact, affect the propriety of the election. Trump's off-the-cuff style of campaigning is seen as an opening for every kind of unreasonable and irrational accusation and complaint. Yet there is no substance to the accusations of racism, bigotry, etc. The left's obsession with a supposed Russian conspiracy concerning the presidential election is a smokescreen excuse for more hysterical finger-pointing.

The globalists are particularly disturbed by Trump's theme of America First, and his declared anti-globalism. They fear that other countries' generous support from the U.S. in various ways is under threat, and to some extent it is. Trump opposes having so many arrangements with other countries that put America at an unfair disadvantage. Now some other countries think that the U.S., which freely helped former enemies after World War II, and greatly helped rebuild much of the world, must now support the plans of the globalists for their New World Order.

International trade deals and political developments have threatened American sovereignty and the liberty of our citizens. America should never be under the control of any other country or outside entity. The United Nations has become an organization in which America pays a large part of the cost of receiving criticism and anti-American propaganda from America-hating countries. Also, the UN seems to be the preferred vehicle for globalist rule, through Agenda 21 and various other efforts to control humanity at every level.

President Trump's view of things is vastly different from President Obama's. Obama, the “citizen-of-the-world” globalist, seems to have done a thorough job of indoctrinating the already left-leaning individuals and groups. He is praising their angry demonstrations. He is allegedly controlling their efforts. Of course, the liberal spokespersons say they don't “condone” the all-too-frequent and severe violence, but they don't really seem to have much of a problem with it. The supposed “responsible” leftists don't seem to mind paid mobs helping them push their agenda. They don't criticize black radicals for calling for policemen's deaths. They show no sympathy for families of murdered police officers. They don't mind that “sanctuary cities” have unnecessarily protected illegal alien murderers and other criminals. They favor open borders and they are OK with any number of people from anywhere coming into America. If they were watching Steve Bannon at C-PAC, they must have felt shivers up their spines when he mentioned “deconstructing the administrative state.”

Their “The Sky Is Falling” approach undermines America, and appears to be leading to eventual prosecutions for sedition if not treason. The political value to liberals of their extreme contrived anger, and crocodile tears over everything they read or hear about Trump is doubtful. Anger is politically about all they have. They do not have reasonable arguments that come through the noise. Anger is not really much of a political strategy. People eventually tire of it. Meanwhile, a lot of unnecessary damage is done, people are beaten or murdered, homes and businesses are destroyed, and everyone suffers, except the globalist elites.

The Democrats' true character is on display. They, and their media cronies, are not above lying, encouraging violence, and engaging in the politics of personal destruction, as well as increased name-calling and false accusations. This even includes criminal leaks of classified information. Obama's appointee holdovers must be viewed with suspicion and replaced, or simply fired, as soon as possible. These things also speak to the slimy political character of Obama. Some of the Democrats' activities are already over the line of criminality. Attorney-General Jeff Sessions will have, as a large part of his workload, trying to undo the damage inflicted on America by Barack Obama and this gang of radical leftists.

American Self-Rule or Globalist Ruin: Choose One

Some Republicans abandoned Trump after release of his lewd comments about women. The debate helped to show the need to defeat Hillary and elect Trump. Much greater issues are at stake. Remember, Hillary has public and private positions on the issues. On immigration, she is for amnesty, sanctuary cities, and open borders. Several issues each alone would be enough reason to vote against her: Supreme Court nominations, Second Amendment, socialized medicine, etc., etc.

Some well-known Republicans have withdrawn their endorsements of GOP nominee Donald Trump in the wake of comments he made 11 years ago. While no public official should fail to reject such comments, those who are so quickly abandoning their candidate are, in my opinion, doing a disservice to their party and America. The issues involved in this election are very much greater than usual, and it comes down to a life-or-death struggle for America as a free and prosperous country vs. a big banana republic ruled by globalist socialist elites, a nation borderless and overrun by suspicious characters.

The current administration, supported by (and in some cases led by) Hillary Clinton has done such damage to the U.S., short- and longer- term, it is incalculable. Trump represents the only real hope we have of improving anything about America that is touched by government. The alternative is a tragic collapse. The globalists are truly frightened of Donald Trump because he represents the restoration of American sovereignty, pride, and world influence, i.e., what used to be the normal American condition.

A “return to normalcy,” if you will.

Today, we have an administration which (1) throws around billions of dollars like they are nothing, racking up unpayable debt; (2) has no intention of restoring economic growth, and wouldn't know how to do it if they did; (3) doesn't mind that America is disrespected around the world; (4) is out to destroy America as a sovereign nation through massive unvetted immigration, sanctuary cities, paid protest mobs, and undermining of respect for police; (6) keeps and tries to increase a permanent government-dependent underclass while reaping their votes; (7) puts forth candidates of proven lawlessness and corruption; (8) always wants higher taxes and more spending; (9) chooses to be disdainful and out of touch with the American people, and (10) hating the Constitution, prefers to rule by decree. It is no exaggeration to say that the federal government is out of control, with policies that constitute treason.

When it comes to comparing these horrible realities with Trump's locker-room talk (which is much like I heard sometimes in high school), comments made eleven years ago, apologized for, and repented of, by Mr. Trump, we must realize he remains our only political hope for preserving our nation.

I agree with Mike Huckabee's comments. The establishment types are afraid Trump will win. Huckabee keeps things in perspective:

Obama promised “hope and change,” and he's brought about quite a bit of change and left many of us hoping for an end to his changes. The change promised by Donald Trump is essentially designed to return our country to a normal condition, rather than let it be destroyed by Hillary Clinton. She would double down on Obama's misguided policies and leave America greatly weaker, poorer, less safe. And less free than we've been since the days of King George III.

Obama's changes have brought about a “new normal” of amazingly large and unwise actions that do not in any way benefit America. In this latest ransom payment (“contingent on release of American detainees”), serious weaknesses in America's dealing with the terrorist nation of Iran are highlighted.

Our 1979 hostages were released when Ronald Reagan took office. To get the hostages freed, the Carter Administration agreed to return frozen Iranian assets of $7.9 billion, and made several other concessions. That looked a bit like a ransom. Iran apparently didn't want to negotiate with Reagan. Carter's Secretary of State Warren Christopher negotiated the deal, but Reagan signed the agreement. Carter was detemined to get the crisis ended before his term expired. Possibly Reagan thought the only alternative would be war, and, anyway, he chose to honor his predecessor's agreement. 

Subsequent events events should have been sufficient to void the agreement before now. Serious sanctions have been placed against Iran in the years since the hostage crisis. The sending of an airplane loaded with $400 million in cash to Iran was, in my view, extremely unwise and arguably treasonous. Oh, and coinciding with the release of prisoners makes it even more foolish and shameful. Yes, Iran says it was a ransom. They got $400 million to speed up their nuclear project, and increase their terrorist activities. This is supposed to have partly settled a deal from 35 years ago, when America sold Iran weapons, that were never delivered because of the hostage situation. Why should that money ever be paid back? And the $400 million is just the first installment of $1.7 billion to be refunded to Iran. The deal was made before the jihadists came to power. It's not properly the current government's money anyway.

If any other president, particularly if he were a Republican, had a plane loaded with $400 million in cash sent to Iran, whatever the reason given, he would have been endlessly criticized and probably impeached. But the Obama Administration's lame explanations are supposed to satisfy everyone that this was not ransom. If it looks like ransom, sounds like ransom, and smells like ransom, chances are it's ransom. 

As has been observed, the U.S. is now the world's greatest financier of terrorism around the world. The bad behavior of Iran should long ago have caused them to forfeit any agreement to end sanctions or have anything returned to them beyond what the U.S. Congress thought necessary. And this wasn't necessary. It puts Americans everywhere is more danger than they were in previously. Iran has killed lots of Americans. We shouldn't be facilitating our own victimization by terrorists. What next? Getting Iran's “Supreme Leader” to address a joint session of Congress?

With the Clintons, Dishonesty Is Just Part of the Problem

There's an old one-liner that goes, “I've read so much about the dangers of smoking that I've decided to give up reading.” That's sort of how I'm beginning to feel about politics in America these days – I've read so much about the fawning so-called “journalists” who love Hillary, and the lying liberals who seize on every opportunity, real or imagined, to demean Donald Trump, it's just disgusting.

Trump has a very good chance of becoming our next president if the left doesn't assassinate him.

I watched the documentary “Clinton Cash” on YouTube the other day, and I must say, it seemed very factual and well-sourced. I plan to read the book as soon as it arrives at my house from Amazon.

[I also plan to see Dinesh D'Souza's documentary “Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party,” currently in theaters. It is based on D'Souza's book of the same name.]

Based on the film “Clinton Cash,” and what has been reported over the years about the scandal-a-week Clintons, it seems to me that Hillary is like Al Capone, only on a much larger scale, and probably a lot meaner. She almost makes Capone seem like a philanthropist by comparison.

The scale of Clinton corruption and hypocrisy is breath-taking. By selling influence and virtually inviting bribes, directly, and through their “charitable” foundation, the Clintons have amassed great wealth for themselves and their friends through shady, and often taxpayer-funded, schemes. In Haiti, for example, with Bill representing the United Nations' and Hillary the United States' relief efforts after the devastating earthquake several years ago, great promises of rebuilding were made. Large contracts were awarded to Clinton cronies, but very little helpful rebuilding work was actually done. But the Clintons and their friends made a great deal of money at the expense of U.S. taxpayers, using the people of Haiti, then the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere.

Similarly in Africa and elsewhere, the Clintons have praised and propped up tyrannical dictators in order to get lucrative concessions awarded to their friends, friends who have directly paid them six-figure speaking fees and/or contributed millions to their foundation. And so it goes. As the film points out, they have often back-tracked (flip-flopped) on some of their cherished liberal principles to do some of these deals – things like environmental concerns, human rights abuses, and other issues. As is often said, “follow the money,” and Schweizer and friends have done that and it turns out that many millions of dollars have found their way to the Clintons personally and to their foundation in very questionable circumstances.

The Clintons are adept at saying the right things, but if one observes what they actually do, one must wonder how they get away with these things.

America has seen some rich, profit-making families, but never on this kind of scale, profiting from influence peddling on the basis of past and present government offices held. It is shocking and would be much more so if more people were paying attention.

But dishonest activities are not the only, and not even the main, thing that makes the Clintons a blight on America. Their political agenda is, I believe far more dangerous than their crooked money-making schemes. They are right in step with the globalist elites who are working toward a one-world government that holds tight control over everyone and everything. Agenda 21, anyone? Saul Alinsky?

Their kind of “progressivism” (Hillary's that is, not what President Bill Clinton practiced) threatens doom for the American ideal of liberty. The Bill of Rights would soon be out with the daily trash, starting with the Second Amendment, then the First, and so on, until our “rights” would be defined by a statement of political correctness, in line with what the United Nations, Bilderberg Group, etc., want.

Hillary, as president, would double down on Obama's policy failures (though from the Progressives' standpoint, successes) in health care, taxes, “social justice.” race-baiting, etc. She would continue to push onerous taxes (but ever-greater borrowing), reams of regulations, massive legislation that no one reads, all aiming at total control over the local neighborhoods from police to housing to land use. Their ideal would be a docile, government-dependent population living in small spaces, driving small cars that cannot go far or fast, or, better, no cars, just public transportation. Eventually the majority of people would be on food stamps and in poverty, maybe getting “free college,” but with nothing meaningful to use it for. The elites would be the exceptions, living like the Obamas live now in terms of luxury and a degree of freedom. Eventually, dissidents would be placed in re-education (FEMA?) camps or just eliminated entirely.

All that sounds (and is) extreme, but it would take place over several years and a few generations, little by little, as the government became able to neutralize opposition in order to implement it. At some point, even “elites” who were no longer helpful would be gotten rid of also. These things would happen gradually but methodically. “Progressives” have pursued their agenda since the days of Woodrow Wilson and before, and history shows that they flirted seriously with fascism and Soviet communism along the way, and have been enamored of collectivism in general, and great executive power in particular. As a present-day example, Obama, often and on many issues, shows his disdain for the government-limiting Constitution, bypassing Congress and ruling by decree.

Conservatives have complained and even sued, but Congress generally has shown little to no inclination to seriously stand up to Obama's usurpations. And Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan et al wonder why people are upset with the establishment, including the Republican establishment?

Personally, I say away from the GOP with those Republicans who will vote for Hillary. Their days of GOP influence will soon be over. Trump is not everyone's choice for president, but he is the only one with a chance to beat Hillary. The fate of the nation is at stake. The next election and the next few years will show whether America is willing to stand up for her principles, and whether Western Civilization is deemed by the people in all Western countries to be worth saving. To the extent that the globalists have their way here and in the West generally, there will be large Muslim population growth, greatly increased terrorism, much more racial strife and the obliteration of America as a sovereign nation. There will be more unconstitutional treaties and regulations, bad trade deals, crime, poverty, and general misery. That's if the globalists win. The Brexit vote and the Donald Trump presidential campaign represent a movement that is probably our last best chance to stop globalism and preserve America as America.

ADDENDUM: HOW THE GLOBALISTS' PLANS MIGHT FIT INTO

END-TIME BIBLE PROPHECY

Some people who might be labeled “conspiracy theorists” have said that the Bible-prophesied Antichrist (“The Beast”) and false prophet of Revelation have appeared already, and they name who they believe it is. I'm not prepared to think that, although things seem to be moving in such a manner, that if left unchecked, it will soon be feasible for these satanic characters to appear. See Revelation, Chapter 13. Consider: Technology is already in place that could be used to implement the “mark of the beast,” insofar as not allowing anyone to buy or sell unless he or she possessed some required physical or electronic “mark” is concerned. Two things pointing toward this are (1) the cashless society – everyone could buy or sell only through a universal banking system, with every transaction recorded, monitored, and fully traceable, and (2) negative interest rates, which would preclude earning anything from savings or checking deposits, with balances gradually and selectively dwindling, so as to reduce or eliminate economic power of account holders. Negative interest rates are currently being used in some places, and the idea of a cashless society is being talked up, and seems to appeal to some people. What's not in place yet is the religious aspect, whereby people will worship the Antichrist, which is what the “mark” would signify. Scripture says that those who refuse to take the mark will be put to death, and those who take the mark can never be saved, but would spend eternity in hell. Our secular-minded world would greatly be deceived into believing the Antichrist's lie. But this is how the Antichrist could come to power – through a one-world government, trying to take control over everyone and everything. Of course, they couldn't do it entirely, but great damage would be done and millions of souls forever lost, and many saved only by giving up their physical lives. Only the return of Jesus Christ will prevent all humanity from being wiped out. But He will return and prevent this total destruction, and set up His righteous kingdom.

Many Christians believe these things will happen soon. It may be fairly soon, or not for a considerable time. One thing certain is that no one knows when Christ will return. When He does, it will be unexpected. Another thing certain is that He will return. Therefore, Christians are advised to be ready.

Either Freedom or the Establishment: Has It Come to This?

America is scheduled to have a general election in November that is nothing if not momentous. Assuming Obama does not declare martial law and attempt to stay in office, we will elect either a successful businessman, who appears to have repented of some of his establishment beliefs, and wants to “make America great again,” or a relic from the past, Hillary Clinton, whose biggest accomplishment is getting away with serious crimes. Her record in statesmanship consists of a world set aflame, largely through her decisions and ineptness, which seems consistent with her “extreme carelessness” in handling sensitive information. Her proposals promise what I would call “more of the same, only worse,” building on the “achievements” of Barack Obama. Obama's record would be better if he had spent his entire two terms taking vacations and playing golf instead of trying to do anything serious. But he is a member, with George Soros, of the elites of the world, who view ordinary people as beneath contempt and large institutions as their piggy banks and servants.

Hillary, like Obama, has no problem receiving any kind of financial contributions from foreign powers and suspect domestic entities. She will do nothing that Wall Street wouldn't like, or that might slow down dangerous “refugee” immigration. She is for open borders, and would continue Obama's come-one-come-all immigration policies. Whatever decent or constructive impulses she possesses are completely overshadowed by her dangerous and destructive policies. Her support for Planned Parenthood, which was founded with the deliberate aim of wiping out the black population, is just one example of her death-dealing political views. The so-called “Free World” we have enjoyed for lo these many years is in its greatest danger since the Cold War and the beginning of the Iron Curtain. The establishment elites know this and are either orchestrating the trouble or else they are pathologically stupid. My belief is that they are not on the side of liberty, and are deliberately out to destroy what's left of Western civilization as we have known it. Enough billionaires seem to be planning some kind of apocalyptic retreat of safety (maybe even on another planet), that it makes one wonder about their overall state of mind.

The elite trend setters of Hollywood and elsewhere are doing all they can to destroy traditional morality and religion and put the focus on pleasure, government dependency and “free stuff.” Political Correctness exists in order to stifle opposition and try to shame people who might oppose the demonic destruction of the West. Muslims must be protected from “Islamophobia,” homosexuals from “homophobia,” and Christians presented as ignorant bigots and therefore fair game for whatever abuse the elites think they can get away with.

The “populist” anti-establishment movement, exemplified by the Donald Trump presidential campaign and Britain's “Brexit” vote stem from real and valid concerns.

The American Declaration of Independence includes the following statement:

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” (Emphasis added)

 

To “throw off such government” should, ideally, happen through elections. That seems to be the goal of the world populist anti-establishment movement. We'll see where it leads. But there must be some important changes, and fairly soon.

The present U.S. Administration seems to regard the Founding Fathers as radical extremists who should have never encouraged the Revolution. In fact, the Founders were extraordinarily brilliant, talented and courageous men of strong moral fiber and foresight, who were willing to risk everything for liberty. There aren't too many people like that around today.

The liberal elites (“progressives”) have tried and to a considerable extent succeeded in selling the notion that “America” is supposed to provide everyone with all they need, and freedom must be curtailed if it gets in the way of the Progressives' great program, which includes everyone, “for their own good.” Progressivism is simply thinly veiled fascism, a la Mussolini, with a strong dose of Marxism mixed in. Crony “capitalism,” with big corporations colluding with government to wipe out competition and rule the marketplace, is actually the very opposite of a free market economy. The favored few will benefit, at the expense of everyone else. Obama might not be able to destroy our economy entirely in eight years and replace it altogether with fascism, but he is making a lot of “progress.” The end result would be massive poverty, a third world economy, and banana-republic politics. Freedom as we have known it will be a distant memory.

To listen to the misguided speakers (some of whom are well-intentioned) at the Democrat convention is a gut-wrenching experience for anyone who is devoted to the American ideal of freedom. The liberals want to make everything they don't like illegal (guns, for example) and everything they like (free college, for instance) mandatory. The underlying theory, of course, is that people are too stupid to decide things for themselves and must be guided by a faraway firm hand at the top. Any reasonable study of socialism will show that it is not sustainable. Experience shows that eventually the worst people are in charge, and dissenters are put to death. Before that, an economy like Venezuela comes about, and government micromanagement like Communist East Germany is installed. All leftist government flies in the face of American tradition, economic reality, and human freedom. The natural rights of human beings are sacrificed on the altar of dictatorial tyranny.

The top levels of government in the United States are characterized by extreme, widespread cynicism, greed, and lust for power and money. If the entire top echelons of the Executive Branch, and much of Congress and the federal judiciary were to resign and leave America today, it would be a great improvement.

If the anti-establishment forces don't have substantial success in the next few years, we will see Europe overrun by Islamic violence and America in turmoil over terrorism, violent crime, and liberal attempts to take away guns, and to establish mandatory political correctness and shred the Constitution. We are witnessing in these days, if not the emergence of the Antichrist, at least a look at how he is likely to come to power.

Vote as though your vote were the most important of all. It may be one of our last meaningful elections.

Easy Choice: Trump, Not Hillary

The Donald Trump phenomenon has been useful in bringing to the debate some important issues, issues that have been suppressed in the name of globalism and the New World Order by the elitists. Now that Trump is the GOP's presumptive nominee, having accumulated record numbers of votes, the voices of the candidate and his supporters are being heard. This suggests that many Americans are tired of having their concerns ignored and disagreeable and evil policies thrust upon them by their supposed betters. (Disclosure: I was a Ted Cruz supporter until he dropped out of the race, so I'm a bit late to the Trump train. I like Cruz's outsider perspective and conservatism.)

But Donald Trump is the vote-getter, with an admittedly populist message that deviates from Cruz's conservatism. The GOP can ill afford to ignore the voting results. The voters' concerns ought to be those of the great majority of the GOP constituency, for these concerns have been ignored too long. For Republicans of the #NeverTrump movement, I say this: If you prevail, the US could very well be done in by the Obama-Clinton monstrosity you would allow into office. A third-party run could do that.

Hillary Clinton

There are many reasons for Trump's appeal, among which is that Trump would be a far, far superior president to Hillary Clinton. She represents the continuation of Obama's socialist/fascist attitude that is destroying freedom day by day. She represents those who want “free stuff” with as little individual effort and responsibility as possible. She represents those who want to force upon our nation every kind of sexual immorality and perversion they can. She represents those who want to embrace the Muslim invasion, the illegal immigration, and the anti-Christian attitude. She represents those who literally want to take away all guns from citizens, and has said as much. She represents those who want to anoint climate change as the number one priority when in fact it is an evil hoax designed to empower government and impoverish the citizens. She represents the anti-life agenda of Planned Parenthood and Obamacare. She would pack the Supreme Court with “progressive” (read: socialist) activists who would dismantle the Bill of Rights in the name of “social justice” and judicial supremacy.

Trump has indicated that he would appoint conservative justices to the Court, starting with someone to replace the late, great Justice Antonin Scalia. Hard shoes to fill, but it must not be with an activist liberal.

Trade, one of Trump's core issues, is an area where he will need conservative advice. Tariffs will not help the economy, nor will they bring jobs back. The way to do that is, as much as possible, get government out of the way, promote real free trade, and get out of those awful entangling globalist agreements. Trump wants us out of WTO, NAFTA, TPP, etc., and that's good. If he wants “fair trade,” establish real free trade with the government stepping in only to prevent trade abuses such as dumping below-cost products in America to gain a market foothold.

I think Trump will build the wall he has proposed, and it will be a bargain whether Mexico pays for it or not. Gaining control of our borders is essential to immigration reform and national security. It is not at all unreasonable to place a moratorium on all further immigration pending the repair of our system, and it seems imperative that we prevent the proposed thousands of “refugees” from entering our country. A temporary ban on all Muslim entry into the US is not out of the question. As for the deportation issue, Trump's proposal to deport all illegals certainly is feasible, and makes more sense than Obama's policy of releasing convicted criminal illegals into the population to kill, steal, rape, drive drunk, etc. even further. And the Border Patrol needs to be allowed to do their job. Hillary Clinton, of course, would do none of this. Nor does she have the first clue about how to grow the economy or create jobs. She could only, like Obama, grow government and create more regulations and taxes.

Foreign policy is an area where Mr. Trump would need good advice and help. America First is a good starting point. Based on his foreign policy speech, he seems to be mostly on the right track. He knows it is very important that we rebuild our military, since Obama has been determined to gut it. I believe he would treat our allies better and deal with our adversaries far better than Obama and Clinton have done. Together, they have created the biggest mess in the Middle East in years, with prospects for improvement steadily diminishing. Syria, Libya, Iran, Iraq, and ISIS show their abject failures. Trading high-value terrorist prisoners for an accused Army deserter, and lying to the families of the Americans killed in Benghazi, are two of the most egregious scandals on the Obama-Clinton record. It wouldn't take the world's greatest statesman to do better than this. Trump did not build his business success without getting advice and help from good people along the way. His stress on competence is good, but he also needs some encouragement in downsizing government. I would be optimistic about a Trump Administration, and near despair if it's Clinton or Sanders.

I believe that for Republican leaders and officials who still believe Trump must be stopped at all costs, your days of inflluence in the GOP are likely numbered, just as the anti-Goldwater people seemed to fade from the party after 1964, even though Goldwater lost big. The GOP leaders whose main contribution in recent years has been to fund Obama's agenda and refuse to stand up to him, need to see the light and either change their ways or be shown the door. While Trump certainly would like to unite the party and smooth things over a bit, a Trump Administration will be a rebuke to government incompetence and malfeasance on the part of either party. Hopefully, Trump will see the truth of Reagan's 1981 statement, “Government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem.” Much can be accomplished simply by getting government out of the way and focused on its legitimate functions, which do not include controlling absolutely everything Americans do.

Trump represents the triumph of American nationalism over globalism and the assertion of an “America First” economic and trade policy. Sounds good to me. Even if Trump is a less-than-perfect president (they all are), we can be put on a better track than what we're on now, and begin to see something positive out of government instead of pure negativity. I will be happy to vote for Trump and pray that he wins.

Who's Unhinged?

The left, the media, and the GOP establishment are furious over Donald Trump's proposal for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States. Jeb Bush says Trump is “unhinged.”

Before jumping to ridiculous conclusions, voters should consider a few relevant points.

U.S. law provides that the president may block any or all aliens from entering the United States for as long as he chooses. Rush Limbaugh's website quotes 8 U.S. Code 1182:

Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president.  Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

As Limbaugh points out, President Jimmy Carter used this provision to block Iranians from entering the U.S. Before that, all legal immigration into the U.S. was blocked from 1924 to 1965 – 41 years!

What Trump proposes is a temporary ban on Muslim immigration until it can be established what kind of threat Muslim immigrants might be and how to deal with them, in view of the Paris and San Bernardino shootings and the perceived increased threat posed by ISIS. Or, in Trump's words, “until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”

The idea is not unreasonable and has these people in an uproar only because of their devotion to extreme political correctness. The House of Representatives has just passed bills to make visas more restrictive and to require other countries to provide information on known terrorist threats if they participate in the visa waiver program. A temporary halt to Muslim immigration is perfectly in order for the purpose Trump stated. If President Obama and Hillary Clinton could admit that there is a connection between these terrorist attacks and Islam, it is a very small step to Trump's proposal. It ain't Jews, Catholics, Baptists or Presbyterians doing these killings.

And Democrats want to bring in tens of thousands more Syrian “refugees” who cannot be vetted, and will surely include more terrorists, no matter what the government says. The governors who want them kept out of their states are wise to oppose their entry.

People can reasonably disagree with Trump's proposed ban, but it is not reasonable to characterize it as hate, bigotry, fascism, etc. Those who do so are much more likely “unhinged” than Mr. Trump, and certainly poor students of history. Trump's idea is not without precedent or good cause. But the left believes that their kind of overreaction is going to be effective in persuading people other than the GOP establishment, the MSM, and the Democrat base that Trump is wrong. Like some other statements of Trump that drove these folks to distraction, it is unlikely to persuade many GOP voters, or virtually any Trump supporters to agree that Trump is at all out of line.

Contrary to the wishes of those who loudly criticize Trump, he is not going away easily or, I believe, any time soon. He makes sense to many people outside the political class. Whether he eventually gets elected or not, he has made a lasting change in America's political landscape, and the establishment won't be the same again for quite a while. Barack Obama: Traitor, Liar, Murderer, etc.

 Andrew McCarthy discusses Obama's lawlessness and the seriousness of the danger of the Iran deal.

My comments:

The Iran nuclear deal negotiated (if you can call it that) by the Obama Administration is about the worst kind of international agreement ever made for our country. In short, the Iranian mullahs got everything they wanted and we got nothing. No real inspections, no assurances, nothing. All we got was Iranian officials saying “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Obama pretends this is not harmful. The claim that the deal will prevent war is ridiculous on its face.

This is an agreement that gives aid and comfort to our sworn enemy, and is therefore an act of treason by Mr. Obama. Not only will Iran be able to proceed with their nuclear weapons development and conventional arms build up virtually unhindered (supposedly with the agreement of our “allies”), but Iran will also be generously provided with about $150 billion in released funds, which they can and will use to ramp up terrorist operations in areas where they are already very active, as well as new places. They will acquire long-range missiles capable of reaching the U.S. They already have missiles that can reach Israel. Ignoring their death threats is such an obviously ill-advised choice as to seem deliberately placing America and Israel in terrible danger.

It can hardly be otherwise than that Obama and his minions know that they have seriously harmed the national security interests of America and Israel. Apparently these interests are far different from their own. If this is not the case, then we have the most careless, inept, and stupid foreign policy negotiators in history.

Obama has often shown his disdain for America as we have known her. His “fundamental transformation” is an attempt to destroy the foundations of our nation and create a socialist society that soon ends up as a third world dictatorship. There must be resistance by states, citizens, and elected representative at all levels to the lawlessness and betrayal we are witnessing. Only Republicans, for all their weaknesses, timidity, and political laziness, represent any kind of political hope to halt this destruction. Hillary, like Obama, is an Alynskyite (only more dedicated) and Bernie Sanders not only wouldn't help, but would soon bring America to absolute bankruptcy through endless spending.

This kind of betrayal is in line with Obama's demonstrated character. He has no problem with the murders of babies in the womb. He promotes and champions abortion as do almost all Democrat politicians. He lies about practically every important issue that gets his attention. There is not enough space for this article to list all or even most of the ways Obama's policies and actions have done a grave disservice to the United States of America. From things as petty as punishing the Washington Redskins organization for their nickname, to encouraging the killing of thousands of birds with windmills, to the multi-billion-dollar boondoggle of Obamacare, to turning against Israel, and placing their and our lives in danger through deliberately America-weakening foreign policy and massively cutting the military, the Obama presidency is already disastrous, with the threat of much more destruction to come.

There must and will be resistance. We must pray that it will be enough.

Ted Cruz Analyzes Washington, D.C. Cronyism and Corruption

In this recent speech at the Heritage Foundation, Senator Ted Cruz makes a strong case for his presidential candidacy by demonstrating his understanding of the problem of Washington cronyism, corporate welfare, and corruption by both parties that continually benefit the well-connected at the expense of the American taxpayer. The situation he describes should be shocking, but maybe we're not tuned in to politics enough to realize what a problem this is. Senator Cruz is willing to take on these issues and is one of the very few who will.

I urge everyone who is interested in these issues to watch and listen to the complete video. America will not benefit from the continuation of these unacceptable practices, and it will take some doing to really start correcting things.
