Barack Obama: Traitor, Liar, Murderer, etc.

My comments:

The Iran nuclear deal negotiated (if you can call it that) by the Obama Administration is about the worst kind of international agreement ever made for our country. In short, the Iranian mullahs got everything they wanted and we got nothing. No real inspections, no assurances, nothing. All we got was Iranian officials saying “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Obama pretends this is not harmful. The claim that the deal will prevent war is ridiculous on its face.

This is an agreement that gives aid and comfort to our sworn enemy, and is therefore an act of treason by Mr. Obama. Not only will Iran be able to proceed with their nuclear weapons development and conventional arms build up virtually unhindered (supposedly with the agreement of our “allies”), but Iran will also be generously provided with about $150 billion in released funds, which they can and will use to ramp up terrorist operations in areas where they are already very active, as well as new places. They will acquire long-range missiles capable of reaching the U.S. They already have missiles that can reach Israel. Ignoring their death threats is such an obviously ill-advised choice as to seem deliberately placing America and Israel in terrible danger.

It can hardly be otherwise than that Obama and his minions know that they have seriously harmed the national security interests of America and Israel. Apparently these interests are far different from their own. If this is not the case, then we have the most careless, inept, and stupid foreign policy negotiators in history.

Obama has often shown his disdain for America as we have known her. His “fundamental transformation” is an attempt to destroy the foundations of our nation and create a socialist society that soon ends up as a third world dictatorship. There must be resistance by states, citizens, and elected representative at all levels to the lawlessness and betrayal we are witnessing. Only Republicans, for all their weaknesses, timidity, and political laziness, represent any kind of political hope to halt this destruction. Hillary, like Obama, is an Alynskyite (only more dedicated) and Bernie Sanders not only wouldn't help, but would soon bring America to absolute bankruptcy through endless spending.

This kind of betrayal is in line with Obama's demonstrated character. He has no problem with the murders of babies in the womb. He promotes and champions abortion as do almost all Democrat politicians. He lies about practically every important issue that gets his attention. There is not enough space for this article to list all or even most of the ways Obama's policies and actions have done a grave disservice to the United States of America. From things as petty as punishing the Washington Redskins organization for their nickname, to encouraging the killing of thousands of birds with windmills, to the multi-billion-dollar boondoggle of Obamacare, to turning against Israel, and placing their and our lives in danger through deliberately America-weakening foreign policy and massively cutting the military, the Obama presidency is already disastrous, with the threat of much more destruction to come.

There must and will be resistance. We must pray that it will be enough.

Obamacare: Just Another Unsustainable Boondoggle of Our Out-of-Control Government

As if the Obama presidency was not already enough of a disaster, the presentation of Obamacare, in all its polluted, poisonous, and maddening reality should convince us that those we have in charge of the Executive Branch represent a sad, sick, and sorry parody of what government should be. No administration in memory approaches this level of incompetence and arrogance.

One theory I have thought about is that Obama's plan is working out just as he wants. When you're trying to transform a great nation into a third-world dictatorship of fascist/marxist socialism, what you have to start with is destroying the institutions that have characterized that great nation over the years of its greatness. That is what we are seeing, whatever Obama's intentions may be. At the end of his term, we are going to be less free, greatly further in debt, and with little to be optimistic about based on the performance of this pathetic administration.

Obama today, 12/03/2013, is starting a “new campaign” to try to re-sell Obamacare. He is trying to cover over his deliberate lies with new lies, such as the one that says Republicans have presented no healthcare plans. They have presented plans that would address the problem of uninsured people without wrecking the entire system to do it. Obama's rhetoric suggests that he has a poor grip on reality, apparently thinking that more speeches and a shriller tone will correct things, when Obamacare can never be corrected at all, since it tries to defy the laws of economics.

Despite the Administration's touting of the improved healthcare.gov website, the following is still true:

1. Many people have still been unable to navigate through the process;
2. The website is not at all secure, and people are putting their personal information and social security numbers on a site that is said to be subject to easy hacking; and
3. The website does not have a mechanism to effect premium payments to the insurance companies, and thus it cannot complete a transaction for the purchase of insurance. Therefore, many people who may think they have purchased insurance because they have created an account and shared their information will likely find that, when they need the insurance, it is not going to be there. It's hard to believe that this is going to go over well with these people.

We are learning of millions of people losing their insurance coverage, and many finding that the coverage available to them will come with higher premiums and much higher deductibles.

With Obama's approval rating barely at 40 percent, and with the president vowing to spend the next three years fixing Obamacare if necessary, his second-term agenda may be dead in the water. And even Obamacare is unlikely to survive. Although the president has vowed that Obamacare will not be repealed as long as he is in office, it could be killed through defunding, if Congress could work up the necessary courage.

Obama's other problems and scandals are ongoing, and despite administration stonewalling, they have only begun to be investigated. Obama's ranks as the most corrupt and inept presidency yet. Lies, crony capitalism, illegal harassment of political opponents (IRS, for example), gun-running, endless debt that can never be repaid, etc.

The increased debt alone defies comprehension by its enormity. To think that this is going to end well for America's economic situation if continued on the present path, is to live in a fool's paradise. I truly believe that President Obama should be impeached and removed from office immediately, while America is still functioning. Think Detroit. That's the path we're on, only on a much greater scale.

Trying for the Biggest Extortion Shakedown in History

You've probably seen the videos. Over and over.

As President Obama was saying, “If you like your doctor, you can keep him; if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it. Period,” he was telling a lie, knowing it was a lie. In fact, people who were paying attention knew this was extremely doubtful, but hoped it might be true. This scheme (Obamacare) was put into effect after several lies from the Con-Artist-in-Chief and his administration, pushed through on a strict party vote, under cover of darkness, handing out exemptions and exceptions in exchange for support; well, you know the history.

Enough people believed the lie that it didn't keep Obama from getting the law passed, and getting reelected. (And stonewalling on Benghazi didn't hurt either.) When you add that to the roll-out fiasco, and the likelihood that young, healthy people will not be enrolling in Obamacare in sufficient numbers to support the program as designed, the Obama Administration is looking at a massive flop. It was supposed to be (and may somehow still may be) a gigantic new entitlement program and wealth transfer mechanism. It appears unsustainable at every level. It confiscates money in the form of the mandates and inflated premiums. Instead of better, lower cost healthcare, it will yield increased taxes, and, contrary to Obama's promises, greatly increased cost, and many people losing insurance, under a misguided and misrepresented, all-around lousy plan. Many people who supported the law are finding that they will suffer harm as this monstrosity is implemented, not the least of which is a serious loss of freedom.

The credibility of Barack Obama has been seriously undermined. But it has been obvious to a lot of people that he can hardly be believed on any promise.

We've been seeing headlines like, “Did the president mislead us on Obamacare?” No, he didn't “mislead” us, he willfully lied about his “signature” accomplishment. For the sake of politics. That is because, to these people, politics trumps everything. When liberals are in power, we get incompetence, a bad economy, and tyranny.

But, of course, it's the fault of the insurance companies. Or maybe George W. Bush. Or the Republican Party.

I agree almost entirely with the article and its theological analysis, but would add that I think that not only will Obama's and his supporters' actions bring on God's judgment, but that we are already under judgment in the form of our corrupt Federal government and an increasingly corrupt and deceived electorate. Also, I am not sure Obama is demon-possessed, but his actions can certainly serve in preparation for the Antichrist. James Madison said,

Is there no virtue among us? If there be not, we are in a wretched situation. No theoretical checks, no form of government, can render us secure. To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people, is a chimerical [imaginary] idea. Government Shutdown Not Unbearable – Especially Nice for Obama and Reid

Wow, the Democrats get to huff and puff about how they're not going to negotiate over either Obamacare or the debt ceiling. They get to call Republicans jihadists, terrorists, arsonists, etc. They get to summarily reject the House GOP's efforts to fund certain items, and talk about “Why should we want to help a kid with cancer?” Why should World War II veterans get to visit the WWII Memorial? After some vets visited anyway, they have apparently secured the site with sandbags and more barricades. That'll show 'em! These guys mean business.


They'd like to make the shutdown hurt as much as possible, then sit back and laugh about how (they think) they have a big political advantage.


But whatever progress they thought they were making toward getting Boehner to cave may have been dealt a severe blow by a Wall Street Journal report that says, in part:

Said a senior administration official: “We are winning...It doesn't really matter to us” how long the shutdown lasts “because what matters is the end result.”


White House allies, however, say a long shutdown could make the White House's position less tenable. Mr. Obama is the most visible symbol of the U.S. government, they say, and will inevitably share in the blame as hardships mount and people weary of the infighting.

To his credit, House Speaker Boehner responded with appropriate anger: “This is not some damn game!”





Reid was even getting so angry and personal about Senator Ted Cruz, he felt he had to apologize for his breach of Senate rules of decorum. I haven't heard anything from the GOP that resembles the Democrats' arrogant rudeness. [Reid story via Drudge Report]

President Obama, thus far has responded with the following:

1. Rather than fulfilling his duty to mitigate the inconvenience of the shutdown for the American people, he's trying to make it worse, by instructing the Senate Democrats not to accept any of the House funding bills, which would be helpful to people. Politics trumps duty (and decency) for these people.
   
2. The whining Obama is totally unwilling to negotiate. Instead of leading, he is campaigning against the idea of talking to the other party about very real and legitimate concerns they have, which represent those of their constituents.
   
3. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out, Obama has apparently become the first president to deliberately talk down the stock market. He's trying to put a scare into investors about the possibility of a default, which he, I suppose, wouldn't mind seeing just so he could blame it on Republicans.
   

Further, according to Mark Levin, lawyer and radio talk show host, Obama is preparing to blow up the separation of powers even further by raising the debt limit unilaterally. While this remains to be seen, it is entirely plausible, given the Obama track record of lawless acts, in regard to Obamacare, the National Labor Relations Board and a good many other things.



Obama must either negotiate with Republicans or see the debt limit crisis define his legacy. My suspicion is that he doesn't care about his legacy as long as he can transform America into a socialist/fascist dictatorship.


The citizens of the United States, I believe, are recognizing Obama's stubbornness as the main problem. Reid and his rubber-stamp Senate are Obama's co-culprits in the little drama. The adults are the Republicans, and the victim is the United States of America. Yes, things can get a lot worse, thanks to the Democrats. Republicans should hold the line.

Roberts’ Decision Shows No Entity of Government Can Be Trusted To Protect Liberty

What are we to think of Chief Justice John Roberts’ deciding vote in favor of upholding the manifestly unconstitutional and deeply harmful Obamacare law? Was this some kind of legal move that somehow helps conservatism in the long run, or simply a betrayal of our constitutional liberty? After the Chief Justice’s defense of free speech in prior cases, it is surprising and almost shocking that he should come down on the side of socialism and loss of freedom in this instance.

Roberts’ legal gymnastics defy logic and law. He has seemingly made the unconstitutional constitutional. As a constitutional scholar, in this case he showed no more concern about or knowledge of the Constitution than President Obama does on a typical day. The Anti-Injunction Act states that a tax cannot be challenged in court until someone has had to pay the tax. In this case, that would not be until 2014. As Byron York points out,

Roberts’ sleight of hand drove his conservative colleagues nuts. “The government and those who support its position on this point make the remarkable argument that (the mandate) is not a tax for purposes of the Anti-Injunction Act, but is a tax for constitutional purposes,” wrote dissenters Alito, Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy and Clarence Thomas. “That carries verbal wizardry too far, deep into the forbidden land of the sophists.”

It’s either a tax or it isn’t.

Was Roberts intimidated by the media and Obama into the decision he made? Dennis Prager quotes CBS News as follows:

As reported by CBS News:

“Some of the conservatives, such as Justice Clarence Thomas, deliberately avoid news articles on the Court when issues are pending . . . . They've explained that they don't want to be influenced by outside opinion or feel pressure from outlets that are perceived as liberal.

“But Roberts pays attention to media coverage. As Chief Justice, he is keenly aware of his leadership role on the Court, and he also is sensitive to how the Court is perceived by the public. [“The public” means liberal media and academics]

“There were countless news articles in May warning of damage to the Court — and to Roberts’ reputation — if the Court were to strike down the mandate….”

Prager notes that if Roberts voted to strike down Obamacare, this could be seen by liberals as a violation of judicial restraint (as Obama suggested). I say that the Executive and Legislative Branches showed no restraint in writing, passing, and signing this monstrous legislation and, after the Court’s decision, will now show less and less. The Chief Justice ought to be less concerned with how the public views the Court and more concerned with how the Court views the law.

It’s clear to me that something other than legal logic led to Roberts’ decision. Whether it was intimidation, hubris, or something else, he has voted to uphold a bad law, and done it on bad grounds.

Roberts wrote, quoted by Patrick Buchanan in an excellent article called, “John Roberts Makes His Career Move,” “We (the Court) possess neither the expertise nor the prerogative to make policy judgments. Those decisions are entrusted to our nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”

There are cases where this is correct, but this is a very lame excuse for upholding the unconstitutional.

Buchanan’s evaluation is worthy of consideration:  “He does not want Anthony Kennedy, the swing justice, to be making history, while he is seen as a predictable conservative vote.

“John Roberts aspires to be a man of history, to have this court known to historians as ‘the Roberts Court.’ And if there is to be a decisive vote in future great decisions, he wants that vote to be his.”

This episode underscores the fact that no entity of government can be relied upon to protect our liberty. The Court had the power in this case to do something about protecting constitutional liberty, but chose not to by upholding an unconstitutional law. God bless the minority who voted to strike down the law.

At least the Court chose (7-2) to protect states from the over-reaching threat to cut off all Medicaid funds if the state chose not to expand Medicaid as the law provides. But that, although important, pales in comparison to the main decision.

If there is any upside, it is only that the conservative base may be energized enough to be united in support of Mitt Romney, and then hold him to his promise to get Obamacare repealed. They should also get to work on replacing weak-sister RINOs who either support Obamacare or have a defeatist attitude about repealing it.

The final power still rests with We the People. We cannot be silent and acquiescent on this issue. Obamacare must go, or with it we’ll soon get full socialist dictatorship with no one in government to protect us from whatever the authorities want to do to us. The Tea Party is needed more than ever. God help us to correct this massive error and save our freedom and our economy. Both are in grave danger now.

Obama Unbound (Part 2)

 There are many good reasons to vote against Barack Obama in November. As far as I can see, the main reasons to vote for him are to try to assure that entitlements will be added and not reduced, and that if you’re currently not paying any income taxes, you still won’t, although everyone else will pay substantially more. That evil upper 50 per cent, ya know.

Obamacare, if it is permitted to stand, will lead to massive tax hikes during an Obama second term (if any). If Obama is reelected, he will have no concern about accountability to the people, since he will not face another election (assuming we still have elections by 2016). He has demonstrated this by his refusal to be accountable to any great extent now.

Obama thinks we need just one branch of government, namely, himself. He will not feel much need to get Congress to do much, since he thinks he can rule by decree. So far, no one is stopping him. Who knows if he would abide by a Supreme Court decision to strike down Obamacare even though Attorney General Eric Holder assures us he would.

The president who debuted basketballs decorated with his own image at the White House Easter event, would likely have giant portraits of himself placed in conspicuous places, a la Saddam Hussein; maybe statues, too. Maybe he should get work started for a future Obama Memorial in Washington. To make room, he could tear down the Jefferson Memorial.

There is no lack of signs that something is definitely amiss about Obama’s thinking, in terms of American tradition. He maintains that capitalism has never worked and is the main cause of our economic problems, when in fact it is capitalism that has brought about our historic prosperity, not because of, but in spite of government interference. He believes it would be judicial activism for the Supreme Court to overturn Obamacare on constitutional grounds (“unprecedented”), when it is rather frequent that the Court strikes down federal laws on the basis of the Constitution. Remember how he whined and even chastised the Supreme Court, over the Citizens United decision, in his State of the Union speech, with justices sitting right there, unable to respond.

He submits a so-called budget that is defeated in the House of Representatives by a vote of 415-0. Does anyone see anything strange about that? Not even one member of his own party voted for it. They knew it was a joke, and if they had voted for it, the joke would have been on them. But Obama don’t need no stinkin’ Congress or Supreme Court, just his own little circle and several czars.

He occasionally hints at fiscal responsibility, but never fails to keep our deficits and debt growing at astronomical, potentially catastrophic, rates, and never fails to call for higher taxes. He criticizes the Ryan budget plan while offering exactly nothing of his own to deal at all with the growing deficits. He still pushes Obamacare when it has been conclusively shown that it will greatly expand the federal debt. He pushes for more EPA regulations, effectively shutting down coal plants.

If the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports some added jobs and a slight decrease in the unemployment rate, he neglects to mention that the rate drop is due to more people giving up trying to find a job, and therefore not being counted as unemployed. This deception seems to work with some people, although it is obvious to anyone who is paying attention.

Obama supports the Attorney General in spite of Operation Fast and Furious, the infamous gun-running scandal that ought to result in Eric Holder’s firing. It was an attempt to create an excuse for more gun control (part of Holder’s “brainwashing” scheme?) and it has contributed to the deaths of at least one American agent and many Mexicans.  This alone is grounds for impeachment of both Obama and Holder.

My main point is this: Given the things Obama has done in his first term, what should we expect from a second Obama term? The answer is: The hole we’re in will be dug deeper and deeper, more people will become more dependent upon government, and much less able to earn, spend, save, or invest. Our currency will be at risk.

More big banks will be bailed out, more money created out of thin air will be used to prop up irresponsible national governments overseas and crony business interests in the U.S., and more aid will be given to Islamists of Egypt, Gaza, and elsewhere. Meanwhile, the war in Afghanistan will languish until Obama decides that it’s pointless to continue, something which is obvious now, and we’ll likely see further military adventures in other places.

 There will be even more support for labor union thuggery from such as the SEIU, which does not hide its sympathy with the Communist Party, nor its willingness to act violently if it so chooses. Forced unionism will be backed even more strongly by the Administration.

Environmentalist weirdness will increase, and be the excuse for even more denials and delays in oil and gas drilling, and even more stupid green energy fiascos. The EPA will be given more and more leeway to over-regulate everything until many more businesses fail, unable to comply with the unending rules.

A Rasmussen poll, out today, shows Mitt Romney in a statistical tie with Obama among likely voters. Since Rick Santorum has dropped out of the presidential race, the nominee will be Mitt Romney. I hope he will stay true to his conservative promises and that Republicans will unite to support him. We need a president who is in favor of America being returned to normal, not increasingly whacked out. If Obama wins, freedom will continue to disappear. America will be in a constant crisis mode under a government managing for decline. And probably still blaming George W. Bush.

Talk Radio Hosts Discuss Obamacare Case and the Leftist Threat to America

At The Daley Gator, there are three short videos of Mark Levin’s comments on the oral arguments about Obamacare in the Supreme Court. He has an excellent analysis.

Also, Rush Limbaugh has posted a video version of the first hour of his March 28 program in which he discusses the leftist tyranny hanging over our country, exemplified by the Obamacare case and the fact that what the administration really wants is single-payer insurance. Our freedom and prosperity are severely threatened by this and other leftist policies. I wonder, along with Rush, how Obama has any chance of winning the election, but he does have a chance. For the sake of liberty and our economy, the incumbent president should be decisively defeated and the Democratic Party voted out of power.
